COLCHESTER, Vt. - Men's hockey players Reave MacKinnon (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Winnipeg Saints) and Morgan Bell (Revelstoke, B.C./Saint Alberts Saints) were named the Northeast-10 Conference Co-Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, it was announced on Monday. Sophomore goalie Mike Dizgun (Kirkland, Quebec/OCN Blizzard) was recognized as well, landing on the Eastern College Athletic Conference East honor roll.

MacKinnon, a junior forward and a member of last week's NE-10 Honor Roll, scored two goals, including the game-winner, against Assumption in last Tuesday's NE-10 Conference opener. MacKinnon's pair of goals gives him a team-leading six points, ranking him sixth in the NE-10 and 10th in the Eastern College Athletic Conference East.

Bell, a sophomore defender in his first varsity season, scored his first collegiate goal and tallied an assist in the 5-3 win over the Greyhounds. Bell currently leads all Saint Michael's defenders with four points.

Dizgun, the netminder for two of the three Saint Michael's wins this season, made 29 saves in the team's win over Assumption. Dizgun and the Purple Knights have not allowed a third period goal yet this year.

The Purple Knights hit the road for the first time this season when they travel to Hamilton College on Friday for a 7 p.m. ECAC East contest.
