Keller, Pinckney Receive NE-10 Basketball Weekly Honors

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Women's basketball senior tri-captain Alexis Keller (Harrington Park, N.J./Old Tappan) and men's basketball sophomore Qua'ron Pinckney (Bronx, N.Y./Saint Benedict's Prep (N.J.)) landed on the Northeast-10 weekly honor roll, the conference announced on Monday.

In a 1-1 week for the Purple Knights, Keller led her team in points in both games. She netted a game-high 21 points in their 57-41 against the Saint Rose Golden Knights, having gone 6-of-10 from the field and making three steals. She followed that play up on Saturday when the Purple Knights outplayed the Le Moyne Dolphins 64-48. Keller shot for a game-high of 16 points, adding in seven rebounds and four assists.

Pinckney helped lead the Purple Knights in their competitive match-ups this week, as they dropped their contests to Saint Rose, 80-77 in overtime, and Le Moyne, 75-67. Pinckney had 16 points and seven assists against the Golden Knights, and followed that up with a 20-point game on Saturday against the Dolphins.

The Purple Knights will play Southern Connecticut State University on the road this Tuesday. The women will tipoff at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
