Mullins Named To NE-10 Men's Basketball All-Conference First Team


COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College senior Brendan Mullins (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Basketball All-Conference First Team, it was announced on Thursday evening. Mullins is the first Purple Knight to earn First Team honors since Todd Roberts '01 was named NE-10 Player of the Year during the 2000-01 season.

Mullins led the NE-10 in scoring for much of the season, and entered today second in the conference with 18.2 points per game. Mullins is also third in the league with 147 assists, and fourth in the NE-10 with a 5.1 assists per game average. In addition, the 6-1 guard is sixth in the conference with 70 3-pointers, seventh with 2.4 3-pointers per game, and 11th with a 1.36/1 assist/turnover ratio.

Mullins helped guided the Purple Knights to a 16-13 season, the program's first winning campaign since 2000-01, and a berth in the NE-10 Quarterfinals.
