Weekly Notes:
ASSUMPTION: Head Coach Serge DeBari won his 300th
career game in the victory over Saint Rose last Saturday.
BENTLEY: Bentley's 23-game winning streak is now
the longest in Northeast-10 history, surpassing the 21-game streaks
amassed by Saint Anselm in 1996 and the Falcons two years ago. In
addition, the 23-0 start is the best ever by a New England Division
II team. Bentley has become the first NE-10 team in 15 years to win
or share three straight regular season conference championships.
The only others to do so were AIC (1983-85) and Assumption
(1990-92). The win over Stonehill Saturday was the 92nd for
Bentley's Class of 2007, breaking the school record for wins in a
four-year period (91, 1975). PACE: In a win over
Southern New Hampshire, Ryan Williams broke Pace’s
single-season three-point record of 94 previously held by Jay
Carlington set in the 2001-02 season. Williams currently has 96
three-pointers on the season. SOUTHERN NEW
HAMPSHIRE: Junior center Sam Carey (Manchester, NH) became
the 41st member of Southern New Hampshire’s 1,000-Point Club

1,008 points in 83 career games (12.1 pg) over his three-year
