Men's Basketball's Warech Named To NE-10 All-Rookie Team

(Feb 26, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's basketball standout Travis Warech (Pine Brook, N.J./Montville) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team, it was announced on Friday. Warech is currently second among league first-years, and ninth overall, with 16.8 points per game. That total led the Purple Knights this season, and he also had a team-best 18 blocks and tied for the team lead with 26 steals. [more]

Men's Basketball Ends Season With 80-68 Setback Versus Saint Anselm

(Feb 24, 2010) COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Saint Michael’s College men’s basketball team (9-17, 5-17 Northeast-10 Conference) closed the 2009-10 season on Wednesday with an 80-68 loss versus Saint Anselm College in league action at the Ross Sports Center. Prior to the contest, Saint Michael's recognized 13th-year head coach Tom O’Shea, the winningest coach in program history with 176 victories, who coached his final game for the Purple Knights.
