210 Saint Michael's Student-Athletes Recognized on NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College had 210 student-athletes qualify for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall, including three from the men's golf team:

Junior Dylan Lavallee (Colchester, Vt./Rice Memorial); and sophomores Steve French (Goffstown, N.H./Goffstown Area) and Spencer Mallette (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams).

Saint Michael's was third among the league's 16 institutions in total honorees, and tied for fourth by having 60 percent of its NE-10 student-athletes land on the Commissioner's Honor Roll. With 11 student-athletes earning a 4.0 GPA, the College was two short of the league lead. Student-athletes that earn a minimum 3.0 GPA during a given semester are eligible for the accolade.

The baseball and women's cross country programs topped Saint Michael's with 21 honorees apiece, with the Purple Knights pacing all women's cross country squads in the NE-10. The men's lacrosse team saw 19 players earn the honor, while the field hockey and women's soccer programs each had 18 student-athletes qualify.
