Angelo named to NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll for Saint Michael's

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's golf junior Nicholas Angelo (Sutton, Mass./Saint John's) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Oct. 15. The announcement came on Wednesday following the completion of the season-ending New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship.

Angelo tied for first place on Oct. 12 at the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational, firing a 75 to co-medal in a field of 29 varsity players. Angelo was among nine varsity players to break 80, aiding the Purple Knights' third-place finish among six institutions. On Monday and Tuesday at the NEIGA meet, Angelo helped the Purple Knights tied for 20th out of 34 schools, the program's best finish since 1997. Angelo shot a 161 during the meet, finishing the season by averaging 77.8 strokes per round.
