Student Association's Athlete of the Week - Nicholas Angelo

Nicholas has been on the SMC golf team for three years now and this year has been his strongest so far.

"We have been able to count on him for good scores from tournament to tournament", said head coach Coach Lou DiMasi. 

"Whenever we are in need of a good score and Nicholas is still out on the course we know we can count on him" added teammate Dylan Lavalle.

His "chirpy" Nicholas Angelo attitude provides a boost to the rest of the team's moral and he is a great asset who has helped the team even through some tough health issues. With three more rounds to go Nicholas is looking poised to break the school's scoring average record for a year and help the team work for its best finish in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA).

When asked what he has been doing to put up such consistent scoring he responded "I really just simplify the game and find the best way to get the ball from the tee to the cup". However he does it, the golf team is glad to have him performing so well and making everyone around him better.
