Aurelia (Simmons) Davidson '00 enters her 10th season as an assistant coach for the Saint Michael's College field hockey program in 2012. She assists with all aspects of the program and helped lead the program to 74 wins and six NE-10 Tournament appearances in her first nine seasons.
Davidson was a three-year standout on defense for Saint Michael's from 1997 to 1999, helping the squad post 30 wins and 18 shutouts while advancing to an NE-10 Tournament semifinal each season. In 54 career contests, she posted a goal and three assists. The 1999 NE-10 Defensive Player of the Year was a two-time NE-10 All-Conference first team selection and was a co-captain her senior campaign. Two of her sisters, Jessica Simmons '04 and Alexandra Simmons '09, also played for the Purple Knights. Each of the three wore No. 11 during their Saint Michael's playing careers.
Davidson graduated in 2000 with bachelor's degrees in elementary education and psychology, and has most recently worked at the Underhill ID Elementary School.
