COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Saint Michael’s field hockey team (3-15, 1-9 NE-10) lost 2-0 to #10 American International in the final game of the 2010 season at Duffy Field on Saturday. Four seniors concluded their careers for the Purple Knights, and were honored during pre-game ceremonies : Natalie Elvidge (Newton, N.J./Newton), Kaleigh Ferrari (Millbrook, N.Y./The Millbrook School), Olivia Hoeppner (Shelburne Falls, Mass./Mohawk Trail Regional), and Meghan McLaughlin (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth).

Junior Amanda McLean (Branford, Conn./Branford) tallied an insurance goal in the 26th minute, and the AIC defense took care of the rest.
