Josh Jacobs returns for his fifth year as an assistant
baseball coach with Saint Michael's in 2013. He helped lead the
Purple Knights to a 15-19 season in his first year with the program
in 2009 before helping the 2012 squad notch 11 victories during its
first season in the Northeast-10 Conference since 1998.
Jacobs enjoyed much success as a third baseman at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass., graduating in 2007. While at WNE, Jacobs and the Golden Bears won three Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournaments and qualified for three NCAA Division III Tournaments. The squad posted three straight 30-win seasons during his tenure, including a program-record 35 wins in his junior year (2006). WNE went 127-46 during Jacobs' four-year career.
A native of Essex Junction, Vt., Jacobs graduated from Essex High School in 2003.
