RINDGE, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team (2-12) could not pull off an upset at fifth-ranked Franklin Pierce University on Sunday, as the Purple Knights fell to the Ravens in game one, 12-3, and in game two, 20-2. Senior John Kunkel (Loudonville, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) belted a two-run home run for the Purple Knights in the opener.
Saint Michael's plays its first two home games of the season on Monday versus Lyndon State College at 3 p.m. at Doc Jacons Field.
