The Saint Michael's College baseball team (1-4) faced a 9-3 loss to Caldwell College on Wednesday before capitalizing on the Cougars weaknesses to win its first game of the 2010 schedule, 8-4, in the afternoon game. Freshman Rob McCarty (Canton, Mass./Canton) picked up the win in relief, taking the mound with the bases loaded and one out in the fifth and forcing a double-play to end the inning. (Mar 16, 2010) PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team (0-3) couldn't crack the win column on Tuesday, falling to Saint Thomas University, 17-4, at the Palm Beach Challenge. Senior Matt Beaulieu (Littleton, Mass./Lawrence Academy) had three singles, two RBIs and a run scored in the loss.
