COLCHESTER, Vt. - Six Saint Michael's College student-athletes in four sports were named to the Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor roll, it was announced on Monday.
In softball, senior Meg Roberge (Sheldon Springs, Vt./Missisquoi Valley Union) and sophomore Megan O'Connor (Georgetown, Mass./Georgetown) earned honors. O'Connor went 2-0 on the mound, allowing one run in 12.1 innings pitched, while Roberge pitched a complete-game shutout on Saturday versus Assumption College, and fanned 15 batters on Wednesday against Franklin Pierce College.
In men's lacrosse, juniors Mark Agostinelli (Dedham, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) and Jeff Hannon (Wilbraham, Mass./Minnechaug Regional) received honor roll nods. Agostinelli recorded four goals and an assist in Wednesday's 12-7 win at Pace University, while Hannon stopped 14 shots in net versus the Setters, and 15 in a loss at nationally-ranked Le Moyne College on Saturday.
In men's tennis, freshman Adam Brezinsky (South Hadley, Mass./South Hadley) garnered an honor roll nod. He posted a win in both fifth singles and second doubles at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday.
In women's lacrosse, senior Megan Lagasse (Newburyport, Mass./Governor Dummer Academy) was placed on the honor roll. She combined for seven goals in a pair of contests last week.
