HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Saint Michael's College tennis teams each suffered a 7-2 loss to Tiffin University on Thursday during the Purple Knights' annual spring break. The Saint Michael's men (4-7) finished 1-4 in South Carolina, while the Saint Michael's women (6-5) are 1-3 in South Carolina with one match remaining.
On the men's side, freshmen Adam Brezinsky (South Hadley, Mass./South Hadley) and Craig Lindaberry (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) each recorded victories in singles action, while for the women, freshmen Catherine Dalton (Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) and Lindsay Horne (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) posted wins in singles play.
The Saint Michael's women close their trip to South Carolina on Friday with an 8 a.m. match versus the University of Charleston, and both teams return to Northeast-10 Conference play on Wednesday versus American International College (women at home at 3 p.m., men on the road at 3:30 p.m.)
