Mero, Sorrentine, Fennessey Garner Northeast-10 Honorable Mention

COLCHESTER, Vt.- Despite a pair of loses for the men's ice hockey team and men's basketball team, Ryan Mero's (Peekskill, N.Y./Avon Acad.) and James Sorrentine's (Pawtucket, R.I./Saint Raphael's Acad.) performance over the week was impressive enough to earn them a spot on the Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor roll. Senior diver Ed Fennessey (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) was also recognized for his performance at the NEISDA championships at Roger Williams University over the weekend.

Going on the road versus the two top teams in the NESCAC in Bowdoin and Colby, Saint Michael's was led by the junior Mero who tallied the team's only three goals, including two versus Bowdoin on Friday night. Mero now leads the Northeast-10 conference in points (32) and goals (17) after his notable performance in Maine.
