      <description>COLCHESTER, Vt. - It was a busy week of action for Saint Michael's College athletics. Men's basketball had a stunning home win over league-leading Bentley, 60-51. Women's basketball faced a loss at the buzzer against UMass Lowell, 64-62, before losing to Bentley, 75-56 on Saturday. Men's ice hockey went 1-2 over the week, shutting out Southern New Hampshire, 5-0, before falling to #9 Williams, 4-1, and #10 Middlebury, 7-2. Women's ice hockey lost their series against Holy Cross, 3-1 on Saturday and 3-0 on Sunday. Skiing placed 10th at the UVM Winter Carnival, while swimming and diving saw the men in sixth place and the women seventh at the Northeast-10 Championship.</description>

      <description>COLCHESTER, Vt. - Men's ice hockey freshman Mike Dizgun was named Goaltender of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference, it was announced on Monday. Dizgun&#xD;
earned his second shutout of the season on Tuesday, as he&#xD;
made 32 saves against Southern New Hampshire to give the&#xD;
Purple Knights their 5-0 victory. He tallied another 30 saves&#xD;
against the challenging Middlebury Panthers on Saturday. The Purple Knights will return to their home rink this weekend, hosting Skidmore College on Friday night at 7 p.m. and celebrating their "Senior Day" the following afternoon against Castleton State College.</description>

The Purple Knights will hit the road this week, playing Franklin Pierce on Tuesday. The women will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. against the Ravens, followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.</description>

      <description>NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College men's swimming and diving team placed sixth, and the women seventh, on Sunday at the three-day Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Southern Connecticut State University. Sophomore Sammy Sweeney (Waterbury Center, Vt./Harwood Union) had a strong Sunday showing, placing fourth in the women's 200-yard butterfly. Saint Michael's returns to action on Saturday and Sunday at the NEISDA Diving Championship.</description>
