Jessica Moore enters her fifth year as an athletic trainer at Saint Michael's in 2010-11. She works with all of the College's 21 varsity sports, and in 2009-10 worked primarily with the men's and women's ice hockey teams during the winter months.
Moore also helps oversee a staff that includes several interns and work study students, and spent several months serving as the College's primary athletic trainer during the 2008-09 academic year, prior to the hiring of head athletic trainer Jim Murdock.
Moore received her bachelor's degree from Castleton State College in 2002, earning her degree in sports medicine and graduating summa cum laude. While at Castleton, she was a senior athletic training student with men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball and women's soccer. She also was highly involved with the athletic training student organization, serving in such capacities as president, vice president, and treasurer.
After graduating from Castleton, Moore was a graduate assistant at Old Dominion University, working primarily with the women's basketball team, which hosted the NCAA Women's Basketball Regional Tournament in 2006. She also worked with the men's and women's soccer teams, and the women's lacrosse squad, and was president of the Graduate Athletic Training Organization in 2005. She received her master's degree in education from Old Dominion in 2006.
