Joe Faryniarz enters the 2006-07 school year in his fourth as the head athletic trainer at Saint Michael's following 13 years as an assistant.

He works primarily with women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, and women's lacrosse, while assisting all other sports.

Faryniarz has held positions on the Executive Board of the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers and worked in the Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilition Center at Fanny Allen Medical Center in Colchester.

A 1986 graduate of Castleton State College, Faryniarz received his bachelor's degree in physical education before going on to receive his master's in athletic training from the University of Virginia in 1988.
