"Zaf" has been an incredibly dedicated and involved member of Saint Michael's College's Athletic Department for close to twenty years. At the time of his induction, he continues to serve SMC as Assistant Athietic Director, Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Summer Camp Director and Cross-Country Coach. He arrived here in 1975, after graduating from Norwich University. Since that time, he has coached teams in the following sports: men's and women's track, men's and women's cross-country, football, men's and women's diving, field hockey, and men's lacrosse. He has led his track and cross-country teams to conference and state championships, and his programs have also generated several All-Conference runners. He served on the ECAC Cross-Country and Track Committee, and as secretary and treasurer of the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers. Zaf has received numerous awards and recognition from the College's student body and the greater community for his selfless and tireless efforts for others.
