Kathleen McNabb Hatch
Class of 1985
Lacrosse
Inducted September 20, 1997

Kathy joined forces with Hall of Fame member Lynn Taplin Pisanelli '84 to propel women's lacrosse to dramatic prominence in the early 1980's. When she was a first-year student, lacrosse was a club sport at Saint Michael's. By the end of her junior year, however, the Knights were fighting for the ECAC Championship! A two-time team captain, she is fourth in all-time scoring at the time of her induction (81-7-88) - ranking first among those players with fewer than four-year varsity careers. She still holds three Saint Michael's records - highlighted by her 61-point season of 1984. She scored an incredible 56 goals that year, leading Saint Michael's to a best-ever record of 9-1, and the program's first bid for the ECAC Championships. In that magical season, Kathy never scored fewer than four goals in any game! During her three-year varsity career, she led the Knights to victory in nearly 75 percent of their games.
