Endrelunas stood as the College's premier goalkeeper for over 20
years, and now ranks as one of the top three goalies in Purple
Knight soccer program history. Endrelunas played a major role in
the immediate success of the program during its formative years, as
the team posted winning records in three of its first four seasons
of existence. In fact, after the Knights went 4-2-2 in his senior
year, the program would record only one more winning season in the
next 21 years! He was named All-State as a junior and a senior, and
was an honorable mention All-New England selection in 1963-64.
Endrelunas owned every goaltending record during that span, until
the arrival of John Jordan and Paul Barous in the mid-1980's. At
the time of induction, he still holds two College goalkeeping
records.
